These water purification tablets are currently issued by the US Military for as the standard issue water treatment tablets, designed to be used with the standard issue canteen. These water purifying tablets purify 1.04 quarts of water per tablet, perfect for the 1 quart canteens that are issued to troops, and each box purifies 8 gallons of water or 30 full canteens. The water cleaning tablets are capable of eliminating most pollutants including Giardia, and has a shelf life of 3 years for optimal resistance to expirations of the product.
