Great Kit Submited By: Reno Maynard on 02/02/2009 This piece of gear was developed by the .mil we (taxpayers) spent a great deal of money developing this system for our ground forces and it wasnt in vain. This system is excellent for dismounted infantry. If you are mobile it is not for you. Some might complain that it isnt ideal for mounted operations or that it doesnt hold enough magazines. Well if you are dismounted and humping you dont care how it works in a vehicle and after about six miles you will be glad it doesnt hold more magazines. I put pistol magazines in one grenade pouch and a compass in the other. I think this setup is perfect for my needs. It should be a staple in every AR owners home. If you put a buttpack on it you can even place it on double duty as a range bag.
