Carabiners & Rings

When it comes to extreme sports, there is nothing more important than having the right gear. For rock climbing and rappelling, there is no piece of equipment that is quite as important or versatile as a carabiner. A carabiner is a metal loop with a sprung gate used to quickly adn reversibly connect components in safety-critical systems. Carabiners are widely used in rope intensive activities such as climbing, caving, sailing, rope rescue, construction, industrial rope work and window cleaning. Small and simple in design, a carabiner is one of the more convenient and easy to use pieces of equipment on the market. There are several different types of carabiners and they are made of either steel or aluminum. A carabiner has one solid side, known as the spine, and one side that swings open, known as the gate. Used properly, a carabiner can safely support the weight of a person and her/his gear for an extended time. Favored by enthusiasts and other extreme sport atheletes, carabiners are also used in rescue missions that involve raising and lowering people and equipment with a rope.

Climbing Ropes & Harnesses

A harness is a system used for connecting the rope to the climber. Most harnesses used in climbing are preconstructed and are worn around the pelvis and hips, although other types are used occassionally. These harnesses prevent children from falling even when inverted. The modern sport of rock climbing makes extensive use of so called mountain climbing rope, which designed to stretch under load in an elastic manner in order to absorb the energy required to arrest a person in free fall without generating forces high enough to injure somebody. Rock climbing ropes are used for caving, rappelling, and rescue applications and used by many rock climbing enthusisats around the world.

Military Tape

Duct tape is cloth or scrim backed pressure sensitive tape often sealing with polyethylene. Duct tape is water resistant and was used as sealing tape on ammunition cases during World War II, because of these properties, duct tape was also used to repair military equipment quickly, including jeeps, firearms and aircrafts. Duct tape is commonly used in situations that require a strong, flexible, and very sticky tape. Duct tape comes in a variety of colors and is more easily torn into thin strips for precise application. Mcnett camo tape dramatically improves grip and insulates hands from uncomfortably hot or cold surfaces and helps prevent guns and bows from slipping in the field. Wrap this tape around any piece of outdoor equipment to keep it from clanking against other objects. For example binoculars, knives, flashlights and you can wrap nearly anything.
