Rainwear

Why spend hundreds of dollars on water resistant jackets or coats, where you can save money and purchase rainwear protection from our line of rainsuits and ponchos. Most of our raincoats are made from polyvinyl chloride material, and PVC is a hard plastic that is made softer and more flexible by the addition of phthalates. We provide special type of rainwear parkas made especially for law enforcement personnel's, which provides comfort and the ultimate protection from the rain while working or traveling. Troops generally hold the poncho liner in high regard, as a very useful piece of equipment, light and packable yet reasonably warm. Some military personnel refer to the poncho liner as a woobie showing the same attachment an infant has for its blanket. The poncho liner found wide acceptance amongst US troops in Vietnam, providing just enough warmth for cool tropical nights but light and small. Our poncho liners come in solid and camouflage colors and are usually made from rip stop polyester material. If your a casual jogger, don't let the rain stop you from your weekly routine, our 2- piece lightweight rain suits will keep you dry and comfortable during your excercise.

Poncho Liners

Check out all of our unique rip-stop military Poncho Liners. Poncho Liners are unique that they consist two different layers of quilted nylon which is polyester loft filled for comfort. Our poncho liners that we offer are commercial copies of the ones originated by the United States Military. Those were intended to provide warmth to soldiers in cold temperatures and were also used as a expedient sleeping bag when attached to the poncho. The material would be looped together through the ponchos eyelets and makes a great sleeping bag as well as a poncho liner protection. These poncho liners can be worn for rain protection by itself, but it is not advised, as it is really meant to be worn under a poncho to provide insulation and warmth to the wearer. The insulated material absorbs water more than it repels. These Military Rip-Stop Poncho Liners are really great and will keep you warm during the colder weather. Take a look at our wide selection of colors which includes: Black Rip-Stop Military Poncho Liner, Olive Drab Rip-Stop Military Poncho Liner, ACU Digital Camouflage Rip-Stop Military Poncho Liner, Woodland Camouflage Rip-Stop Military Poncho Liner & Woodland Digital Camouflage Rip-Stop Military Poncho Liner.

Ponchos

Anyone engaging in outdoor activities in most regions will have to consider the possibility of rain showers arriving while they are out in the open. This is especially true if you are planning an overnight or multi-day trip in the outdoors, such as a river journey in a canoe. While tents are the standard protection against rain and other bad weather while in camp at the end of each day, you will also have to consider some sort of foul weather gear that will keep you dry while you are traveling and while you are making and breaking camp or otherwise busy with activities outside the tent. If you’re ever canoeing during a thunderstorm, the poncho does not restrict paddling and you can continue paddling in hot weather while wearing it without breaking out in a lather of sweat. A poncho is an outer garment designed to keep the body warm or, if made from a watertight material, to keep dry during rain. The poncho is essentially a single large sheet of fabric with an opening in the center for the head with a piece of fabric that covers the head. Rainproof ponchos normally are fitted with fasteners to close the sides once the poncho is draped over the body, with openings provided for the arms, and many other tactical ponchos have hoods attached to ward off wind and rain.

Rainsuits

Rain suit or raincoat is a waterproof or water-resistant coat worn to protect the body from the rain and made specifically for extreme weather conditions. Generally, rain suits come with bottoms and tops to keep you dry from head to toe. On occasion they come in a 3 piece suit where the hood is not directly attached to the jacket. Modern rain suits are often constructed of breathable, waterproof fabrics. They are constructed with the best of quality and are durable. One of the most popular materials for rain suits is PVC material. PVC material is abbreviated for polyvinyl chloride. PVC is a hard plastic that is made softer and more flexible by the addition of phthalates. They don’t only have to be worn in harsh rain conditions, rain suits can be worn while working on a ship to keep the body dry.
