Military buttons are buttons
intended to be used on any of
our military jackets, non
military jackets, and shirts.
These are extra buttons for
coats such as peacoats, M-65
jackets, military BDU coats,
military ACU coats, N-2B and
N-3B. Our military buttons are
predominantly sewn-on buttons.
Flat or sew-through buttons
have two or four holes punched
through the button through
which the thread is sewn
through to attach the button.
Flat buttons may be attached
by a sewing machine rather
than by hand, and may be used
with heavy fabrics by working
a thread shank to extend the
height of the button above the
fabric. Extra buttons are a
must when buttons on your
jacket fall off and need to be
replaced. Military buttons
serving as fasteners work by
slipping through a fabric or
thread loop, or by sliding
through a buttonhole.
