I HIKE OFTEN AND MOST OF THE TIME CARRY A CAMERA WITH ME ALONG WITH A COMPASS AND OTHER USEFUL ITEMS. THIS VEST IS THE RIGHT LENGTH AND NICE AND LIGHT FOR SUMMER WEAR. I ALWAYS PURCHASE ONE SIZE LARGER THAN I NEED TO BE ABLE TO WEAR WITH LONG SLEEVES AND A SWEATSHIRT IN THE COOLER WEATHER. I WILL BE GETTING ANOTHER VERY SOON IN A DARKER COLOR.

It has all the pockets that I need to carry phone iPod bluetooth headset pens glasses keys pocket knife memo pad checkbook calculator random pieces of paper and whoknowswhatelse.
In particular it has 3 horizontal pouches (one with velcro flap) and horizontal pocket on both right and left side at waist level. Amazingly handy!
Going to buy another one.
