A gun holster is a device used
to hold or restrict the
undesired movement of handgun,
commonly in a location where
it can be easily withdrawn for
immediate use. Holsters are
generally designed to offer
protection to the gun, secure
its retention, and provide
easy access to it. Holsters
are generally attached to the
wearer’s belt or waistband or
clipped to another article of
clothing. Most of our tactical
holsters for law enforcement
handcuffs may also fit inside
the wearer’s pocket, where the
holster adds stability and
protection for the object,
keeping it secure in the
wearer’s pocket. Duty holsters
are designed to be carried
openly, so concealment is not
an issue, but retention and
appearance are. Concealment
holsters are designed to be
easily concealed, as well as
lightweight and unobtrusive
and are generally designed for
compact and mid-sized
handguns, since those are
easier to conceal. Concealment
holsters are designed to be
worn under clothing.
