Mess kits supply you with pots and pans to cook over an open fire. Military mess kits are more compact are designed to be even more compact, using their space as efficiently as possible. Thus lids will always be used for preparing, cooking, eating and usually comes in two or three pieces. Any camping cookware made out of aluminum is lightweight, rust resistant, and warms up quicker than many other metals. The meal, ready-to-eat or commonly known as MRE meal, is a self contained, individual field ration in lightweight packaging bought by the United States military for its service members for use in combat or other field conditions where organized food facilities are not available. Gas cans are designed to store gas on hand for unexpected weather conditions, to supply a snow blower with gas when it snows or your car when you run out of gas. Hammocks

A hammock, jungle hammock, deluxe hammock, or a backyard hammock is a sling made of fabric, rope, or netting, suspended by two points. Used for swinging, sleeping or resting. It normally consists of one or more cloth panels, or a woven network of twine or thin rope stretched with ropes between two firm anchor points such as trees or posts. A pick also known as a pickaxe is a hand tool with a hard head usually made out of metal with a handle attached. One side of the head has a pointed end, and the other side of the head has a flat end. The pointed end is most commonly used to break up the surface, rocks, dirt and gravel. The flat end is commonly used to cut through roots when digging. The pick isn’t only an agricultural tool but it was used for mining and during warfare. Picks and shovels are two basic tools that used for a variety of purposes in construction, gardening, and other projects around the house. The pick is easy to swing, making it possible to apply a lot of force to whatever object is being struck. A military tactical shovel and military metal pick come in handy for general land clearance, such as landscaping projects. The metal pick is helpful in prying old tree trunks and the attached roots from the ground, while the tri-fold shovel can be used in the process of removing the trunk and roots from the area.

Sleeping Bags

A sleeping also known as a protective bag is for a person to sleep in, essentially a blanket that can be closed with a zipper or similar means, and functions as a bed in situations where a bed is unavailable. Its primary purpose is to provide warmth and thermal insulation. It also protects, to some extent against wind chill, precipitation, and exposure to view. The bottom surface also provides some cushioning, but sleeping pad is usually used in addition for that purpose.
