Great Replacement Jacket!!! Submited By: MoonAssassin on 11/29/2008 My father has owned his 2 flight jackets for well over 25 years now. While they were still holding up it was time for him to get a new one. I had bought several other flight jackets by the same company that made his original one. They were supposed to be the same exact ones; however the sleeves had been synched the pockets moved the inside pocket was taken out and they didnt even offer it in black any more. I could only find in sage green and navy blue (and his had to be black..it was the color his unit wore). I had basically given up hope of ever replacing his jacket. However I then stumbled upon this jacket. While I couldnt really make much out in the picture it looked exactly like his old one when I googled other pictures of it. I purchased it hoping it would be and IT WAS!!! The only difference I can tell is that it is a little longer (although this might just be a result of how old the original is) and it appears to be made of a slightly different cloth than the original. I am so glad I found this!!! If you are looking to replace an old flight jacket (and everytime you look in the army store it only has those synched ones) I would suggest this jacket!
